Pakistan said Monday that a tactical helicopter conveying six individuals, including a top general, disappeared during a flood help activity in southwestern Baluchistan territory.
The military said in a late-night proclamation that the flight helicopter was overseeing help exercises in Lasbela locale, around 500 kilometers south of the commonplace capital, Quetta, when it lost contact with aviation authority.
Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, provincial corps commandant, and Brigadier Amjad Hanif Satti, chief general of the Pakistan coast watch, were among those on board the missing airplane, the military and neighborhood media detailed.
The military said a hunt activity was in progress yet shared no further subtleties.
Long stretches of uncommonly weighty occasional storm downpours and ensuing flooding have killed 136 individuals and annihilated a large number of homes across Baluchistan, as per Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The decimation has provoked the military and the Pakistan naval force to activate their faculty and resources for aid regular citizen alleviation activities in the area, clearing large number of marooned individuals and conveying food and other important things to casualty families.
Specialists said Monday the cross country loss of life from downpour related occurrences across Pakistan had ascended to 478 since June.
Storm downpours in Pakistan typically run from July through September.
