LAHORE (Dunya News) - Joint up-and-comer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi has been chosen as the Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly.
The previous evening, the no-certainty movement against Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari succeeded, after which the seat of Deputy Speaker became empty.
Wasiq was the main up-and-comer who presented the selection papers for the representative speaker opening as the resistance partnership neglected to pitch their applicant till the cutoff time.
A warning with respect to the progress of Wasiq Qayyum will be given not long from now.
The 35-year-old lawmaker has a place with Rawalpindi.
Wasiq Qayum Abbasi, child of Mr Abdul Qayum Abbasi was brought into the world on June 24, 1987 in Rawalpindi and finished Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication in 2013 from University of Lahore.
He is a financial specialist, who was chosen as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018.
PML-N challenges PA speaker political decision
Recently, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has tested the appointment of PTI's Sibtain Khan as Speaker Punjab Assembly in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
As indicated by subtleties, the PML-N offer, which was recorded by Mansoor Usman, expressed that the political decision for speaker is held through a mystery voting form and printing chronic numbers on the polling form papers disregarded the legitimate and sacred restricting.
The PML-N has implored that court to pronounce appointment of Sibtain Khan as invalid and void and request a re-survey for the position.

Sibtain Khan crushed joint resistance applicant Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar subsequent to getting 185 votes against the 175 votes acquired by Khokhar while four votes were dismissed.
The dismissed votes included three of the resistance and one of the PTI.
