The occupant government on Thursday supported the arrangement of previous chief general of the Intelligence Bureau, Aftab Sultan, as administrator of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
A government bureau meeting was held under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wherein different issues were examined, including the endorsement of previous DGIB Aftab Sultan as NAB's new executive.
Aftab Sultan's name, who has a standing of being a fair official, was proposed by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP). He has prior filled in as auditor general of the Punjab police and the commandant of the National Police Academy.
His in-laws have been individuals from the National Assembly two times. Aftab has a place with Faisalabad and began his profession in the Police Service of Pakistan in 1977 as an associate director in Punjab police.
